Through the years I've worked on a wide variety of corporate-based projects. You
name it, I've probably done it—catalogues, brochures, signage, logos—the list goes on! In fact, my repertoire has recently expanded to include larger-format designs for subway posters, transportation wraps, and billboards.
As a long-time video game fan I was
ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with
entertainment giant Electronic Arts on several of their titles. Together with a team of other production artists and designers I created the exterior packaging and instructional manuals that accompanied many of the company's popular games.
I'm Valerie Petrarca, a graphic designer and production artist residing in the Los Angeles area.
My Design Philosophy
I have always believed that design is the perfect mix of emotion and rationale, when creativity and logic blend seamlessly in order to inspire, move, tantalize, educate and problem-solve. It is a multi-faceted combination of science, art, philosophy, storytelling and emotion rolled into one powerfully layered message.
